Renkum Leeft is very proud to announce that the town of Renkum will be getting an official Airborne Memorial monument.

The monument will be placed at the site where the Battle of Arnhem began, where the first paratroopers landed on dropzone-X, at the corner of Bennekomseweg/Telefoonweg, in Renkum.

Herdenkingsmonument

A memorial monument from and for veterans, relatives, the people of Renkum, and visitors from all over the world. A place to contemplate, to lay flowers or wreaths during official and non-official moments.

This beautiful and historic location deserves to get a monument of a certain size and beauty. That is why Renkum Leeft wants to work together with the council of Renkum, Renkum’s citizens and all of you who are interested in making sure that this will happen. We expect that by actively donating through crowdfunding it will be possible to fund this much desired memorial monument.
