About two months later than in normal years but still on the first day of September, the Airborne-arch is again in full glory at the Utrechtseweg in Oosterbeek, The Netherlands.
Due to corona, the Airborne March cannot take place this year, but a September without Airborne-arch, that's too much. The Airborne flags are hoisting all over the municipality and the arch is part of that overall feeling the Dutch people have to remember those days in September 1944. Corona or not, it's just something that needs to be done.
You could only see happy faces around the arch. It takes soms time to build it up. Mayor Agnes Schaap was present and to her were the honers to set the Dutch flag in place first.
