75 years after the battle: veterans at unveiling monument Dreyeroord

Friday afternoon, the monument at Dreyeroord in Oosterbeek, The Netherlands was unveiled in presence of three veterans who actually fought in and around The White House.

During Operation Market Garden, Geoff Roberts and Dennis Crockett, KOSB and Ron Johnson, GPR fought side by side against the Germans. Many of their comrades didn't survive.
The organisation choose to do most parts of the speeches in Dutch, the veterans had the speeches on paper in English. You can read them here:
