Oosterbeek – Part two of the report video group Veluwezoom In Beeld made of the 76th Airborne March that took place last Saturday.
Here the march starts at the trainstation in Oosterbeek, past the impact signs to the cemetery where no one has to stop for the route, but does so anyway. Usually with a flower or more. No matter how pleasantly noisy the walking tour is, it is almost silent here.
Runners enter the Hartenstein sports park to collect their medals and the Utrechtseweg is buzzing with walking feet, the bands that bring many a foot inside. In between, the veterans pass by in their golf carts and taxis with big smiles and waving hands.
