The 75th Airborne Commemorations have come to an end in the Renkum area from the Netherlands. How lucky we were with the weather and the enormous commitment of everyone to make it a real memorable commemoration week.
And did you ever hear and see so many aircraft's going through our sky? And they were also on Renkums soil: a Horsa Glider and a Spitfire.
Impossible to do
It was impossible to get everything in focus but in cooperation with Video-group the Veluwezoom In Beeld we have saw a lot and compiled the video above.
From the unveiling of the monument for the "mistaken bombing" in Wageningen, the unveiling of the monument for
David Lord VC and his crew, the Renkum Airborne
laser show, with the first memorial at the last year unveiled monument on the
Renkums Heath, loads of paratroopers and a real Spitfire. On to the memorial-ride of the Airborne Riders to the cemetery in Wageningen and the
Race to the Bridgein Heelsum to the centre of activities in Oosterbeek.

in conversation with glider pilot Frank Ashleigh for minutes, the

Airborne Memorialat the cemetery in Oosterbeek to the memorial for the Glider Pilots at the bench in Wolfheze and the unveiling of the glidertail with all glider pilots written on it who are either still missing, or are buried in an unknown grave.
